Ooh La La (Side Story): Chapter 3 Recap

In the previous chapter of Ooh La La (Side Story), Goyun’s friends ask her if she is available to go out drinking with the boys tonight, and Goyun refuses, saying that she has some other plans. Goyun’s friend says that she is disappointed since drinking with Goyun is fun, and her other friend asks her why since Goyun is supposed to be a lightweight.

The friend explains that Goyun never ends up drinking in the first place since she never loses a game, but it would be very fun to see Goyun drunk. Later that night, Goyun meets up with Minhyuk at a restaurant where he has laid out a wide assortment of drinks on the table.

Goyun asks why he ordered so many drinks and that he will get drunk if he drinks them all, but Minhyuk dismisses her, saying that he has been drinking this much ever since he got discharged from the army. Minhyuk tells her about the long tea and drinks his martini, only to spit it out in disgust.

He steals Goyun’s long tea under the pretense of drinking for her, but Goyun knows he is doing it only because he likes her drink better. The two of them continue to drink and become extremely drunk. Goyun soon has a flashback about her dad explaining how to deal with being drunk, and she snaps back into focus.

Goyun nudges Minhyuk to wake up, and the two exit the restaurant. Minhyuk asks if they should go for another round, but Goyun refuses, saying that he needs to go home and sleep. Minhyuk tells her that his house is far away, and the two of them catch a train to go to his place.

As they reach Minhyuk’s home, Goyun realizes that she is going back to her boyfriend’s house, where his parents also live. At the entrance, Minhyuk’s parents open the door, and when Minhyuk tries to introduce Goyun, she has already hidden herself since she wants to make a better first impression of his parents.
