Catherine Tate will play Queen Georgiana, a Royal British Family member (a fictitious one) that before being crowned was a shame to her family, she’s a borderline alcoholic woman past her prime, who’s always partying, shirking her duties as a Royal Family Member.
After a public relations disaster, the Royal Family decided to make her father, the King abdicate in favor of her, now she’ll be Queen and will have to deal with bearing the weight of the crown, but that’s the drama side of it, because this is a comedy, as it turns out, the party-hardy spoilt, middle-aged woman is surrounded by an utterly incompetent entourage, and coupled with her quirks, it makes a cocktail worthy of laughs!
