In most Yumejoshi stories, the villain is the mother-in-law or sister-in-law, which hinders the progress of the plot for the love couple. However, the main antagonist of this story is the grandfather of the male lead, a retired company CEO.

The grandfather loves his grandson (the male lead) and thinks that the female lead is the best match for him. He had seen the work she did, plus he had leverage on her through her ungrateful brothers. She accepts the offer meekly, but we have to say, the grandfather sure is senile for asking something petty from the female lead.

It makes sense that the male lead’s female friends or female family members would grind the protagonist, but it makes no sense with the grandfather.

Well, without variety can’t have the story be interesting or have some identity for the readers. Still, Grandpa looks to have screwed loose for treating the female lead like someone whom he needs to put on a leash for no reason.

Seob will be happy that at least the occasion of their coming together is her. However, she won’t be feeling much happiness at the party as she has a lot going on in her head.

But she needn’t worry; this is her story, and she will one day get out of all this. And having the grandson of her ruthless for herself in the future will be a good revenge on the old man.
