The story revolves around Ichijou Souta and Miki Mahiro. Ichijou Souta works in a Financial company. He is hardworking, productive, and, of course, attractive. After working in the office for long hours, he has an effective way to release his stress. He eats his food fully naked, and nobody knows about his weird habit. One day, his secret gets revealed after meeting Mahiro Miki.
Zenra Meshi Episode 2: Recap
Ichijou Souta is very proud of himself for being hardworking nature and performance. His manager and teammates are very impressed by him and get praised. After a long hectic day, Ichijou Souta has finally returned home. He is making instant ramen to eat and free his stress. He is ready with the ramen to eat, but before it, he removes all his clothes to be naked. It is his way of enjoying relaxation while consuming his food.
Souta wears his pajamas and goes to bed. He finds a letter from his late grandmother, who died a year ago. He reads the letter where she has asked him to visit the house. He must look over his belongings, which are in the home. There is a key attached to the letter. At the weekend, he plans to visit his grandmother’s house. He remembers his grandmother and the time they had spent in his hometown.
He gets lost on the way, but at last, he locates the house. He recalls old memories of his grandmother cooking. He looks through the things and reflects on stories related to them. In tiredness, he falls asleep. He hears the sound in the middle of the night and assumes a robber is trying to break into the house when he awakens.
A young boy, Mahiro Miki, has come to the house. He runs a fruit and vegetable store in the town. He explains that he was a friend of Ichijo Mizuchi, his grandmother, and got keys from her before passing. Souta is sorry for misperceived him as the thief.
He learns more information from Mahiro about his grandmother. They both had a passion for cooking and became friends. He taught her different styles of cooking and new spices. She wanted to explore a variety of cuisine around the world.
Souta was stunned to see Mahiro, a stranger who knew more about his grandmother than him. Mahiro was heading back and kept the spare key on the table. Souta offers a bandaid for Mahiro’s hand as it is hurt. After Mahiro leaves, Souta searches the kitchen for food but finds a recipe book. Souta goes to purchase ingredients from the local market. He finds Mahiro there. He helps him find all ingredients for making Kous-Kous salad from the book.
Souta starts following the steps mentioned in the recipe in the book. As usual, he removes all his clothes, sits fully naked, and eats his food. He is feeling satisfaction appreciating his salad as naked. His mood breaks when he notices Mahiro looking at him in shock. It becomes a very awkward and embarrassing moment for both of them.
