Davey was weak and defenseless, unprepared for the politics that surrounded him as the Prince of the country. On one unfortunate day, Davey is struck with poisoned arrows but one of his own peers, and goes into a coma for many years. Although Davey’s body was in coma, his soul traveled to a place where the bravest and the most gallant heroes gathered. A place where he could gain immense powers and knowledge.

Thousand years passed in that place, where Davey underwent ruthless and harsh training by legendary heroes. After a thousand years, Davey had become powerful beyond human imagination, and decides to return back to his own body. When Davey finally wakes up, six years had passed since he went in coma. Davey realized that his body was extremely weak and stiff, unable to even move a finger.

Equipped with the powers he gained during his training, Davey heals himself and restores his powers. This time, Davey is determined to outplay the enemies hiding in the King’s court and redeem his country as well as himself in process.

Previously in the manhwa, the Heinz territory was targeted and attacked by a vampire named Pace, who managed to brainwash and control 5,000 monsters and unleash them on Heinz territory. When Davey confronts him about it, Pace smugly tells Davey that he did it because he wanted to see nobles angry. Davey and Pace as well his accomplice, cross swords, and Pace realizes that Davey is more powerful than he had imagined.

Pace is angered, and after being taunted by Davey, Pace turns on his human subordinate, using his life force to strengthen and transform into a more powerful beast. Davey remembers his training with the Sword Master, where he fought illusions of vampires who were much more powerful than Pace and the vampires he was currently facing. Davey is quite thankful that his training was finally useful.

As Pace is transforming in order to fight him, Davey sends his Red Flag flying at him and Pace ends up being thrown far away and impaled due to the vulnerable state he was in while transforming. Pace tells Davey that no matter how powerful he is, Davey does not have enough powers to overrule his immortality. The Blue Flag becomes offended and tells Davey that it has enough strength to kill Pace.

Davey tells Pace that his Blue Flag is quite enough to kill him but Davey is not going for it just yet. Davey begins torturing pace using his holy magic, starting from a low level and using a higher level magic with each attack. Pace tries to taunt Davey saying that his attacks are not strong enough to stop his transformation. Davey looks at Pace smugly and uses a ninth-grade holy magic attack on Pace, much to Pace’s horror.
