The latest chapter opens up at the dining table, where we left off in the last one. We see that Izer notices that Selena is hesitating to eat peaches, although the President is kind of forcing her to eat.
We see that Izer breaks one of the glasses next to him and apologizes to the President, who says that he should not have to worry as it sometimes happens to people with long hands just like him. He is dangerous to leave it there, that is why he calls one of his servants to clean it.
Selena Chapter 30: Recap and Review
This is when we see that Izer has plotted this all to somehow transfer the peaches of Selena into his own plate, to make the President look like she has eaten some of them. When the servant arrives, the President asks him to clean the broken glass and prepare a new one for his guest.
At the same time, he also notices that Selena has eaten a piece of peaches and then surprisingly asks her how that was. Selena, while lying, says that it really was delicious, and that is why he is proud of it for a reason.
Selena says that she has eaten so much food before, that is why she is full, and she can not eat anymore, and the President says that she is a picky eater and decides not to force her to eat anymore; however, she also says that as it was good, and that is why it was worth it.
Selena then thinks that thanks to Izer, she can pass this one peacefully; however, at the same time also wonders how he can know that she is allergic to peaches. On the other hand, Ier thinks that it is late now, and that is why he needs to leave; the President seems to want to talk with him this time and also predicts that they need more time to talk about cooperation.
Later in the chapter, we see that one of the President’s servant shows up and reveals that he have a phone call and if he wants to answer it; however, he says that he is with his guest right now, but when the servant says that it is the call from the Lawyer Charles, and he said that it is an emergency so he wants to talk to him, Izer says that if he is calling this late, it must be important, they are fine there, and that is why he should answer that call.
Selena Chapter 31: Spoilers and Expectations
Later in the story, we see that when Izer and Selena are alone, she asks him how he finds out that she is allergic to peaches, as he was the one who changed her plate with his. However, Izer says that there is no way he knows what Selena is allergic to, but he just predicted.
