The Max Level Hero has Returned! Chapter 129 just got released, in which we saw Davey refusing to be the king. Even though he has refused to be the king, he is helping to build the kingdom. After the huge incident and the queen’s death, the story gets a bit slower. It seems like the story pace will be slower for the next few chapters.

In chapter 129, nothing much happened, and also the chapter felt shorter as compared to the previous ones. It felt like it was a filler chapter. It is still unknown to us about Davey’s plans and the next villain in the story. The art style has improved a bit as compared to previous chapters. I’m not that excited about the next chapter, but let’s hope we will get to see interesting chapters from here onward. Davey told him that if something like that happens again, then he would go about it in a much simpler way, not to make his fourth son walk a path of pain.

This was Davey’s responsibility and duty as the eldest son. It was obvious, Bu he officially announced that he had given up on his right to become the king. It was a perfect escape for him; later, we see Davey in Hines territory. The Hines’s territory was invaded once while the resistance force was being overpowered. But such a thing is not a problem when one is well-prepared.
