Although the train is no longer in service, the bridge over the rails is still present.
Juliette, Georgia
In Georgia’s Monroe County, Juliette is an unincorporated area and a census-designated place. The region includes the town as part of its statistical area for Macon. Avalon Health and Rehabilitation is a real residence in Newnan. Though you can see it from the outside, avoid attempting to enter.
Whitesburg, Georgia
The American town of Whitesburg is located in Carroll County, Georgia. 588 people were counted in the population in 2010. The Old Mill building at Banning Mills, where Ruth and Idgie play poker, has taken the place of the trestle bridge. It is situated in Whitesburg, Georgia, 30185, USA, at 205 Horseshoe Dam Rd. On Snake Creek, a textile mill was built in 1846. Today, it serves as a tourist destination with activities like parasailing, cabins, hiking, and others.
