DAHMER, which was released recently on Netflix, is a 10-episode show that portrays the story of Jeffery Dahmer. Tony Hughes, 31, who was killed on 24th May 1991, was the twelfth victim of Jeffery, and his story was shown in the sixth episode, which was beautifully directed. As per the FBI, Tony was residing in Madison when he died. According to his report, he went missing on 31st May 1991 and was last seen at a Milwaukee gay club, 219, on the day of his death when he came back to the city to see his household and family.
Tony was a black man who had been mute and dead since childhood. As per the sources, he lost his speaking and hearing ability because of medicines when he was a child. He completed his graduation from Wisconsin School for the deaf. Later he relocated to Madison (Wisconsin) for his college, and he also started his modeling career.
On 24th May 1991, Tony was killed by psycho killer Milwaukee Monster, Jeffery Dahmer, a serial killer and a total psychopath. As per the FBI, Jeffery was born on 26th August 1959. It is assumed that Jeffery and Tony met each other at a gay bar, and Tony communicated with others by using a notepad. He interacted with Jeffery in the same manner. In May 1991, Tony came to visit his family and went to the same Milwaukee gay bar.
As per The Associated Press reports, Jeffery picked Tony up from the bar and took him to his home, later, he doped him and mutilated his body, and kept Tony’s skull. Tony Hughes was a victim of a brutal murder and was killed by Jeffery Hughes.
What happened to Tony Hughes?
Tony Hughes was brutally murdered by Jeffery Dahmer in 1991. As per the FBI, the reports were filed on 31st May, but he was missing from 24th May and was last seen by some friends in 219 Club. After two months, the remains of his body, his vertebrae, and his skull were discovered in Jeffery’s apartment, remains of other victims were also discovered in the apartment.
The remains of Tony were identified by his dental documents, and his death was notified to his mother, Shirley Hughes. The murdered Jeffery Dahmer agreed to murder Tony and, in 1992, was convicted to 15 life sentences for murdering 14 other victims alongside Tony Hughes. It is estimated that Jeffery murdered 17 teenagers and numerous men from 1978 to 1991.

After discovering the remains of Tony Hughes, Shirley Hughes, his mother, said that she would lose her mind. In an interview, she said that she was just praying the god to tell her where his son was, she also said that she just wanted to know if her son was alive or dead. After looking at how he died, she was hurt and could not describe how she felt. Shirley described her son as happy, outgoing, and jolly, he was also very friendly and was able to make friends easily, according to The Associated Press.

Netflix’s Story of Tony Hughes’s Death
The display of Tony’s story is not entirely clear if that is based on reality or has been modified a bit, the show tells that both of them got attracted to each other, and Jeffery also went to Tony’s picture sessions. There were very few details about Tony’s murder. According to Associated Press, Dahmer drugged Tony and dissected his body parts, and kept his skull. Later, after two months after Tony went missing, he was discovered in Dahmer’s apartment alongside other butchered bodies.
