Arthdal Chronicles season two is premiering this week, and ahead of the continuation of an epic story between freedom and oppression, we prepared for you a summary that will bring you up to date with details that will either refresh your memory from the debut season or pique your interest as you choose this series to watch.
With great cinematography, nice scriptwriting, great acting, and an amazing soundtrack that rivals Ramin Djawadi’s work for HBO’s Game of Thrones and a mass following that put this series’ debut season at the top of the most appreciated and highly rated Korean productions in cable tv, Arthdal Chronicles is the kind of show you don’t want to miss if you like high fantasy with regional twists.
Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Preview
In the debut season of this show, we arrived at the Bronze Age. We’re likely to pick up on the storylines that Eun Seom and his mom left for us as the debut season concluded: One that was quite rough for them because everyone in the Kingdom of Arthdal thinks that Eun Seom is the doom to the realm.
As it turns out, Eun’s mom had a resolve and drive that pushed her to settle in the Wahan tribe. Then, Eun’s dream became reality when the Wahan were put into shackles and in serfdom because of the expansion of the kingdom.
We also met Eun’s twin bro, Saya, raised by TaGon, the King of Ardal, and his wife, Tae Alha, who wants revenge because her daddy got killed. With TaGon’s machinations, he manages to king himself while Eun joins forces with the remains of the free tribes that TaGon hasn’t destroyed yet.
As to what will go down, we’re likely to see the final confrontation between Eun and TaGon’s forces, an epic struggle between freedom and oppression in this Game of Thrones-que Korean series that managed to pick up a lot of traction after its debut season.
