The previous episode saw Mashiro coming to earth and Elle choosing her as Precure and she defended her and Mashiro from the pig monster. Then we saw Soru and Mahiro wandering the streets of Japan where the former is surprised by the thing this world is surrounded by. Although she wanted to act as a Knight protecting Mashiro and Elle, the latter told her they should start by becoming friends.
It was wonderful to see the reason why Soru wanted to become a Hero as well. Being saved as a child by a hero and inspired by it, is a really good foundation. It kind of reminds me of My Hero Academia. And Soru carrying a diary around her pocket to take notes could be inspired by Izuku Midoriya as we had seen him at the start of the series doing the same.
It was very sweet of Mashiro to help Soru go through the streets of Japan wandering about to learn things and shop. But it was amazing when Mashiro bought a diary for Soru since her real one was destroyed by the monster.
