In the previous chapter of Heavenly Inquisition Sword, Yeon is disturbed by the mention of the Flying Dragon Sect, especially when the Soaring Sect had warned Yeon about this new suspicious Sect. Yeon wonders if Deung Cho’s disappearance is connected to the Flying Dragon Sect, and she asks if it looks like Deung Cho was traveling with the Flying Dragon Sect.

No one has a certain answer for that, but someone informs Yeon about the incident where a powerful person – probably Jeokha interfered with the Flying Dragon Sect, and Hwang Yeomdong got extremely angry at Jeokha.

This was how Yeomdong was able to dispose of Deung Cho so easily without the latter even struggling or fighting back. Yeon stops after reaching her destination, and after some time, the body of Deung Cho is revealed, and Yeon sees that Deung Cho’s head is missing.
