Mercenary Enrollment is centered around the life of Ijin Yu. When he was just 9 years old, he was in a plane crash with his parents. His parents both perished in the accident, but Ijin survived. However, he lost his memory. He became part of an elite hitman program, where he quickly rose through the ranks.
He was given the denomination 001. He was the best of the best. Think Hitman Agent 47. He flew all over the world doing missions. Honing his skills to perfection. However, at some point in time, his memories were returned to him. He remembered that he still had family back home.
Specifically, a sister and a grandfather. When the opportunity arose to leave his old life behind for a normal civilian life with his family, Ijin didn’t think twice. After 10 long years, Ijin returns to his family. His family mourned his death, assuming he died in that plane crash.
Imagine their surprise when a family member they thought was lost to them suddenly reappears in their life. Now that Ijin is back in their life, everything changed. He was told by his superiors to keep a low profile, which he failed almost instantly.
He is introduced to the class as a Foreign Transfer Student. He soon finds out that his sister, Dayun Yu, is getting bullied by some kids in the class. He uses his 10 years’ worth of combat experience to beat up her bullies. Even when the school’s supposed top dog came to teach him a lesson, he did not back down.
Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 125 Reacp – The Story Till Now
In the last couple of episodes, we saw that Ijin Yu’s past as 001 has finally caught up to him. 002, who is hunting down Maddog, is out for blood. He attacks Maddog’s base, but he escapes with his life. His search leads him to Korea and right in front of Ijin.
Ijin was out shopping with Dayun when he noticed 002’s presence. He is quick to get his defenses up. He asks Dayun to go back to their apartment. And that he will be with her shortly. He then meets 002 in the middle of the road. He asks him questions about whom the girl he was with is.
His malice toward Ijin is obvious. They agree to move their discussion to a private setting. There 002 gives Ijin a weapon, and they start fighting. It was an intense fight. They are equally matched in combat. That was the case until 002 pulled out a gun.
After seeing the Gun, Ijin seems to have lost his will to fight. Instead, he asks for a favor. He asks 002 to spare his family and to just move on after killing him. Ijin tells him that the girl he saw was his sister and that she is family just like he is.
This causes him to drop his guard just enough for Dusik Cha to intervene and wrestle the gun out of 002’s hand. With that, 002 flees to live to fight another day. He goes back to his life as if nothing happened. We finally got to see Jaehyung’s secret hideout.
It’s a room filled with high-end Computer Systems and snacks for days. He says the gang can use his hideout anytime they want and does not have to go to an Internet Cafe to use computers anymore. Furthermore, he had a special setup for Yungchan so he could fulfill his dream of becoming a streamer.

He probably was overwhelmed by Jaehyung’s generosity. He gave him something he was wanted for a very long time. Yungchan mentioned to the Gang that he wants to be Youtube Gamer. However, he was never able to act on it.
Jaehyung has gone put his way to provide him with streaming equipment. He even promised him that he would be his first subscriber. Everyone else seems to be enjoying the hideout. It was a wholesome moment. Their friendship seems to be growing every day. And let’s hope that they will stay friends through thick and thin. It is sad, however, that if 002 strikes again, Ijin might have to stay away from his friends for their own safety. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
