The story revolves around Gyeo Ui caught her husband’s affair with her friend Ae Ra. She becomes the enemy of Gyeo Ui. Throughout the series, three women embark on a journey with vengeance, romance, and suspense.
Woman in a Veil Episode 6: The Plot
Gyeo Ui is a happy and bright personality. She is married to Yu Jin. It is her birthday, but no one in her husband’s family remembers it except his grandfather. He scolds everyone during breakfast and orders them to plan something good later. Her husband gets angry and complains she did it on purpose. It seems Yu Jin listens more to his secretary Ae Ra than his wife. Ae Ra and Gyeo Ui are friends.
During the meeting, Yu Jin appears disinterested. The secretary brings the presentation materials, saving him from humiliation. Gyeo Ui’s mother-in-law intends for her to do all of the housework. She scolds her for failing to bring wedding gifts and demands a grandchild as soon as possible.
In the evening, the family had planned a birthday dinner for Gyeo Ui. Ae Ra accidentally spills the coffee on Gyeo Ui’s dress. Everyone departs for the restaurant, with Gyeo Ui arriving later. They are waiting for her at the restaurant and are annoyed that she is late. Gyeo Ui suffers from pollen allergies, which worsen her bronchitis. She gets stuck in a lift with flowers while on her way to the restaurant.
She collapses and is taken to the hospital. Her in-laws expected good news, but it wasn’t. Ae Ra disclosed that she had bronchitis and had stopped taking her medication. Ae Ra is the real mastermind behind spilling coffee on her dress and flowers in the elevator and the chaos. She has been giving Gyeo Ui birth control pills to prevent her from becoming pregnant with the YJ group’s future heir.
Woman in a Veil Episode 6: Recap
Yu Jin is drunk and tries to get physical with Gyeo Ui without her consent. She protests and bites his hand. Gyeo Ui warns him that even if they are married, it is a crime to force her. He questions why she opposed him getting close to her if she wanted a baby so badly and had quit medicine. He tells her that if she leaves the room now, he will never sleep with her again. He gives her the option of having or not having a baby.
Gyeo Ui wished she could splatter water on her husband’s face, but she did not. She instead wakes him up and hands him a glass of water. She warns him that she will not tolerate mistreatment like she did last night. He seems outraged because his grandfather is always there to support her.
On the other hand, Se Rin was called by her sister to meet a guy in a cafe. She becomes angry, throws tantrums, and then walks away. At home, both sisters are making an argument. Se Rin is annoyed at her elder sister for setting her up on a blind date. She burns her legs with hot water to avoid meeting a blind date again.
Yu Jin’s uncle wanted to go to the painting exhibition, but no one was there to accompany him. Gyeo Ui agrees to take him. Yu Jin says he’ll send Ae Ra with them. Uncle and Gyeo Ui had a good time at the exhibition. Ae Ra has another plan. She causes a problem for Gyeo Ui, and everyone is disappointed in her.
