Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Episode 1 is set for this weekend and the fans are very excited as it could be the anime of the year once again. Attack on Titan manga ended almost two years ago and according to the sources, the final season of the series has adapted, there are only 9 chapters left to be adapted from the manga. While the rumors that the anime will have a different ending haven’t been confirmed there are few details regarding the last part of Attack on Titan Season 4 which was hinted at recently.
The sound director of the series, Masafumi Mima recently posted a picture on their Twitter account that hints the total number of episodes that the final season of Attack on Titan will have is 35. The first two parts of Attack on Titan Season 4 had 16 and 12 episodes respectively and there remain only 7 episodes in the final part of the series.
Given that the Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Episode 1 is an hour-special episode, it could possibly mean that it is a mix of the first 3 episodes of the series. Thus, the second half of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 could have had the remaining 4 episodes of the conclusive arc which could be brought to us as a special episode possibly with a runtime of 1 hour and 20 Minutes or four different episodes released weekly.
However, as of this writing, nothing is confirmed and it is highly speculative. But it is a format that the Mappa studio could have envisioned for the final part of Attack on Titan Season 4.
