Blue Ivy’s famous appearances
Blue Ivy has been on stage with her mom before. Some might say that Blue became well-known when she appeared at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. At that event, after Beyoncé finished singing “Love on Top”, she put down the microphone and opened her sparkling purple jacket to show that she was pregnant with Blue.
Since that time, Blue has started to catch up to her mom’s record-breaking Grammy wins. In 2021, when Blue was only 9 years old, she became the second-youngest person to win a Grammy Award. For the song “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift, Blue even won the won the award for Best Music Video. Blue worked on this song with her mother Beyoncé.
Over the years, Blue has been seen in many music videos and has sung in the background for her parents. She appeared in a song called “Blue”, which Beyoncé made to honor her. She was also in the Lemonade album’s videos, as well as in her dad Jay-Z’s songs “Glory” and “Blue’s Freestyle”.
Looking at all that Blue has achieved by the time she is only 11, it is clear she is a determined and talented young girl. We are excited to watch her perform alongside her mom in the upcoming shows of the Renaissance tour.
