The story of Hayato Kasukabe, who we know is an orphan who transfers to Tokyo for high school, takes place in Miura, Kanagawa. He comes to Miura after the death of his grandmother and decides to close her faltering café, Familia, after clearing the examinations for the University of Tokyo. After observing the five women’s sufferings and learning of their connection to his grandmother, he chooses to reopen the café after learning that there had been five ladies working there.
