The Nintendo Switch really had its own era. The Switch at present has 4516 video games that you can play. That is huge, isn’t it? One of those 4516 is the The Legend of Zelda. It is an action-adventure Japanese video game series that first came out in 1986. That is correct. The Legend of Zelda is a veteran in this field.
One of the games in the series is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom which came out this year, and the fans are thrilled to have played it. Does it have beautiful graphics, like, dude? Have a look at the poster itself! It is so magical, and so are the video game visuals.
How to Get the Froggy Armor
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduces an exclusive piece of gear called the Froggy Set. It has a skin-tight, waterproof bodysuit with non-slip grooves on its palms and feet for climbing areas that may be slippery.
You can climb on slick surfaces for an extended period of time before dropping down with every object you acquire. Where do you get this armor? Fear not, and we are here to discuss the same exact thing!

It has a quiet name, don’t you think? Zelda peeps could have just left it at Frog Set, but instead, they chose to go with a more baby approach by calling it the Froggy Set. Cute! Well, this cute little set is split into parts. Not two but three! Let us look at it in more detail.
The first one is the hood. We are guessing you know what this is by its name. The hood is the Froggy Set’s headpiece. Next comes the sleeve. This is for the body. Lastly, we have the leggings, which are the gear for your legs, of course. All of these are prone to slipping.
They have got quite some grip to protect you from knocking your head or bruising your bum. You can sell these at a value of 600 and have a base defense of 3. You can always boost your gear at the Great Fairy Mountains. In fact, you can also customize your Froggy Set a bit to your liking at the Hateno Dye Shop.
How to Get the Froggy Set?
All you need to do to get your hands on one is to finish a bunch of challenges and quests like any other video game.
Locate the Lucky Clover Gazette outside Rito Village, which is in Hebra. Link can work as a journalist for Traysi’s newspaper, hunting down reports of Princess Zelda’s appearances with the support of a Rito called Penn. Once the Potential Princess Sightings quest is unlocked, Penn may be spotted at almost all of the stables in Hyrule, where you can finish relevant missions.
You will receive gifts from Penn and Traysi for every mission you finish for the Gazette, along with components of the Froggy Gear as you accomplish additional quests. You will be granted the hood if you clear all 12 quests. The leggings need nine quests, whereas the sleeve requires 4.
Upgrading the Froggy Set
Now, as we mentioned before, you can indeed boost your armor further in the game. However, you need a few things with each upgrade. The base level is the default and has no requirements apart from completing the quest and getting it.
To move to level 1, you need three sticky lizards and 10 rupees. This gets you a defense level of 5. Likewise, level 2, with a defense of 8, requires five sticky lizards, 50 rupees, and five horriblin horns. Defense level 12 comes at level 3 and needs five sticky frogs, 200 rupees, and five blue-colored horriblin horns. Lastly, we have level 4. The details on level 4 are yet to be announced by the Zelda team. But all we know is you require a minimum of 500 rupees to unlock this beast.
We hope we can help you with this guide on how to unlock the Froggy Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. TOKT has proven to be a legendary game so far. Let us know your thoughts on it in the comments below!
