Rudeus embarks on a new journey by cutting off from making any new connections and trying to look for his old connections, his mother especially. But he soon learns on this journey that it is bad to have such an outlook.

He spends his time attending classes, investigating incidents, studying in the library, and practicing his magic. He often speaks to Zanoba, his lunch partner and Fitz, his senior.
Zanoba seeks Rudeus’ help in sculpting, but due to his strength and nature of training, it makes it difficult for him to pick up such a delicate art. So Fitz suggests getting a salve, and they do so and name her Juliette.
Now they have this adorable little girl following them all around. They allow her to experience new things, and they also teach her arts, languages, and magic. Zanoba’s sculpting now shows some progress.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 7 begins with Rudeus exercising and letting us know about how monotonous his university life is. So he trains in the morning and studies and trains in magic during his free time.
Rudues is well caught up with his classes but always keeps it a policy to listen in his classes as it would act as a revision for all that he has already learned from his previous teacher. He is smart, so it does not take him much time to pick it up.
One day Zanoba approaches Rudeus for figure sculpting. He tells him no matter what, he is not making any progress. He isn’t that good at it, but he wants to be. Because Zanoba cannot control his power, he cannot do something delicate like sculpting.
Rudeus asks his senior, Fitz, for some help with it, and she gives him a solution for it. They head over and explore the market as they are required to buy a slave for it to help them.
They ask the merchant if they have any dextrous slaves, and he replies there is one dwarf girl; they choose her even though she’s in bad health. They then take her out to eat some food and ask her about her name. It turns out dwarves are not given proper names until they are seven.
They finally named her Juliette. Julie lives with Zanoba and takes care of any mess that he creates after sculpting. Rudeus teaches her about languages and magic during the day. The sculpting using magic progressed now that they had Juliette.
