While the long ongoing legal battle between the former couple, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, continues to grab media attention, the legal battle has finally come to a verdict. There have been several speculations doing the rounds about whether Amber Heard has lost her upcoming big projects.
There were rumors about Amber Heard being removed from Aquaman 2 and the Lost Kingdom. However, Heard’s spokesperson has finally addressed these claims about the actress no longer being involved in the upcoming DC sequel movie where she plays the role of Mera.
How Much Screen Time Will Amber Heard Have in Aquaman 2?
There has been an online petition that has already crossed 4.5 million signatures to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2. These rumors were fuelled further after it was alleged that Heard lost the role because of Heard’s lack of chemistry with Jason Momoa. The actress even stated in the testimony how she had to fight hard to stay in the movie as she claimed that the makers didn’t want to include her in the film. It was reported that Heard is going to appear for less than 10 minutes of the movie’s final cut!

In the end, though, these allegations were put to rest as the studio finally brought Heard back for another round of DCEU action, and this has been confirmed by the spokesperson. While not much is known about how much screen time Heard’s character will get in the sequel, it has been teased that the sequel will largely focus on the strained relationship between Arthur and his half-brother, Orm.
Aquaman co-star Dolph Lundgren has recently opened up about what it was like working with the actress on Aquaman 2. The actor stated that it was a great experience with her while further adding that Heard was very kind, nice to the crew, and nice to everybody and down to Earth. It was further revealed that as the actress had a newborn baby so she had the baby with her on set with the nanny, which everyone thought was kind of cute.
