Gary Rhodes died due to subdural hematoma. After much speculation regarding the chef’s death, the family finally revealed the details stating how Gary, unfortunately, collapsed in his residence and was immediately rushed to hospital but unfortunately passed away due to subdural hematoma.
It was further claimed that the popular chef died from bleeding between the skull and the brain, usually caused by a head injury. Several fellow celebrity chefs paid their heartfelt tribute to the late chef.

Gary Rhodes’ Son Continues His Father’s Legacy!
The late chef’s son is all set to take on the role of continuing his father’s culinary legacy as he will be joining the Rhodes W1 family as the general manager. A general statement has been issued as it stated that while fine dining was the order of the day in Dubai even up to five years ago, people’s needs for dining out have drastically changed post the pandemic while adding how there has been a move away from high-end, and from stuffy places to casual dining.

Culinary genius Gordon Ramsay took to social media as he penned down a heartfelt more saying how the works lost a fantastic chef in Gary Rhodes while further adding how he was a chef who put British cuisine on the map. Tom Kerridge, who was formerly Rhodes’ sous chef, also took to Twitter and called Rhodes one of the greatest British chefs who almost single-handedly put British food on the world stage.
Grosvenor House Dubai also issued a statement saying how the Michelin-starred chef, restaurateur, and author was working until the day he died. Rock Oyster Media and Goldfinch TV further issued a statement saying how Gary was in the middle of filming a wonderful new series with Rock Oyster Media for ITV from his base in Dubai. They further revealed how the chef was taken ill very suddenly at home during a break in filming and passed away a short time afterward.
