This new harem rom-com follows a man who vowed to be alone throughout his life but finds himself in a temple filled with attractive women.
The manga grew in popularity owing to its fan service and comedic elements. Though isn’t as popular in the manga or anime universe as other fantasy harems, we can predict the unique plot will give birth to a large number of readers and watchers who will desperately want to know how the protagonist will overcome his urges when surrounded by sexy women.

The Plot and Cast for the Anime
Akemitsu Akegami, despite being raised with the belief that “no one can live alone,” is determined to defy his father’s twisted intentions. With a strong aversion to becoming anything like his “creep” of a father, he vows to walk the life of a Buddhist monk and leave all impure thoughts behind. This oath becomes difficult for him to follow when he bumps into a young woman, and the thoughts come flooding back.
Furthermore, the temple he chooses to “devote himself to” is filled with women, including the young woman he encountered earlier. “What’s a man to do?!”. This comedy ecchi story explores the hilarious situation of Akegami and his wish to prove his father wrong whilst surrounded by sexy women.

The new cast revealed is Chiaki Takahashi voicing Kiki, the acting chief priestess, and Chika Anzaui voicing Nyagosuke, the cat living at the temple.
The main cast includes Masayuki Akasaka voicing Akemitsu Akagami, Aimi (opening theme artist) voicing Yuzuki Aoba, and Yu Serizawa voicing Tsukuyo Aoba. To complete the cast, Nanami Yamashita voices Kurage Aoba, Madoka Asahina voices Mia Christoph, and finally, Sumire Uesaka voices Kagura Baldwin.
The manga has a high rating of an average of 4 stars out of 5. The readers seem to enjoy the premise of the series, often describing Akegami as an “idiot” who has “lucky” encounters with the attractive females in the temple. Some say the humor is so well put that they can look past the otherwise weak dialogues. We can expect the anime series to perform pretty well by looking at the manga reviews. Adding to my list!
