In the eighth season of Love Island UK, Adam Collard and Paige Thorne ended up in fifth place and built good chemistry between them. It looked like they were going strong, but recently rumors of their split surfaced when a video went viral on the internet in which Adam was seen with a mysterious lady.
Speculation suggests that the pair are done this month after they both deleted all the photos and posts from Instagram related to each other. Ekin Su, the co-star, told at an event in London that they had split up. Later in October, Adam made it clear that they were separated.
The Cheating Scandal
Weeks after silence, Paige eventually talks about the split in October on the Saving Grace podcast. She said that she is living her best life, but later she said it had been a sh*t life. The host of the podcast Grace asked her about the ‘cheating scandal’ earlier this year, he was photographed in McDonald’s with a mysterious girl. Grace asked about the photograph and the girl who was with him. To which she replied that she did not know who she is, but definitely they were not friends. She even said that there are more videos that people don’t know about. There were different girls on the same night at different locations.
Initially, she was fine after looking at the video, it was just an arm, and she understands that every guy is a little flirty, if a guy puts an arm on her, it should not be considered cheating. But when she saw other videos, she was like she could not justify them now. She kept quiet as she did not want extra drama, and it was not worth her energy. Finally, she said she wouldn’t date anyone with a blue tick.
Paige also asked her about her, whom she thought was the fakest pair in the Villa. To reply, she hinted that a couple from the villa who have recently called it quits. Furthermore, she added that out of the three couples, only two are legit, and she will never tell who they are.
Actually, there are four couples who are still together, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti, and, Indiyah, Polack and Dami Hope.
Adam confirms their separation
In October at NTA, Adam made it clear by walking the red carpet alone as they both have separated. In an interview with the Sun, he told that they are not together, but she is a great girl. Both of them attended the ceremony but were not seen together.
Ekin Su confirms the split
After deleting each other’s photos from Instagram, Ekin Su, their co-star, confirmed that the couple is no longer in the relationship and they have split. To the Mirror, she said that it is over and done, and she thinks that Paige can do better. She also told that when you are in the show, it feels like a bubble, and you are in a completely different world.
Reality hits when you come out. Men get the attention, and they love it, and it is overwhelming. Su also looked at the viral video with another girl, and she said that she was not happy as she thought that Adam and Paige looked great. Adam is a good guy, but it was just not fair to her.
How did they meet?
Paige took a shaky road to romance in Love Island, 2022, after the initial spark with Jacques. But midway into the season, he left the show when he got interested in Casa Amor when he shared the bed with Cheyanne Kerr.
He returned to the show, but Paige has gotten her lesson and was already interested in Adam, Jacques eventually left the show. Adam had been in the show in 2018 and has a bad boy stature, as he had short romances with several women.
He was a bomb and lit the romance with Kendall Knight, later he eyed Rosie Williams. Both of them stayed together until the arrival of Zara McDermott, but the latter was dumped, so he shifted to Darylle. After exiting the villa, he was in with Zara for eight months but got separated, later Adam and Paige bonded in the villa and even looked happy in the outside world before the separation news.
