Who doesn’t know Darth Vader, the fictional character from the Star Wars franchise who acts as the central villain for the franchise? People love to cosplay as Darth Vader for comics and other events like Halloween.
One such incident that has been making rounds on the internet is when a spectator dressed as Darth was escorted out from the stadium of Edgbaston. Created by George Lucas, the character of Darth Vader was based on a monster known as Grim Reaper from Frankestein’s Monster.
Well, Grim Reapers are imagined personified characters responsible for collecting the souls of deceased victims. The character of Darth Vader was first portrayed by Davide Prowwse, followed by Bob Anderson, and the latest one is portrayed by Hayden Christensen. Darth Vader uses Lightstaber as his weapon, and he is also known by the name of Anakin Skywalker.
Darth Vader is the son of Shimi Skywalker and is married to Padme Amidala. Darth and Padme have two children a daughter, Leia Organ Solo, and a son Luke Skywalker. Originally, Darth Vader’s character was a slave on Tatooine to bring balance to the Force. Force by Chancellor lures Darth towards the dark side of thus becoming a Sith Lord.
The first time Darth Vader makes an appearance in the franchise, he appears t be a ruthless cyborg Sith Lord serving the Empire of Galactic. Well, for all the Vader fans, he was listed as the third greatest villain created in the cinema industry. Darth’s character also became controversial as he wears black clothes with a black helmet which people interpreted to be lacking racial diversification.
Darth Vader’s character as a tragic hero is loved by the public. Vader’s character is also considered helpful by psychiatrists in explaining borderline personality disorder. The character of Darth Vader has been paid homage by several television and movies. The Edgbaston Cricket Ground is a cricket stadium located in the Edgbaston area in Birmingham, England.
The stadium was established back in 1882 and had the capacity to hold 25,000 people in it. This stadium has been one of the prime locations to hold important cricket matches apart from the Lord’s Stadium. The original owner of the Stadium’s land used to be Calthrope Estate, who sold the land to Wylam Investments.
The first match to take place at Edgbaston Stadium was Warwickshire’s against MCC on 7 June 1886. There were around 3000 spectators present in the stadium to watch the first cricket match held at Edgbaston.

Why Was Darth Vader Ejected From Edgbaston?
Well, was the spectator dressed as Darth Vader ejected from Edgbaston or not? Was it all a ruse to create publicity for the ongoing Asher Test matches? On the third day of the ongoing Asher test matches, a moment of amusement for the viewers outside as one of the spectators dressed up as Darth Vader, the Star Wars famous antagonist, got escorted out of the stadium for crossing the seating area close to boundary boards.
Security swiftly escorted the spectator in Vader’s costume away from the boundary perimeter of the board. This incident appeared as the spectator was taken under custody, thus leading to several memes and jokes being circulated regarding Star War puns. Several fans saw the funny side of the joke as the incident took place on Father’s Day, and Vader is far from being an ideal father to his children.
Well, the truth behind the incident was later revealed by the authorities of Edgbaston through a tweet where they made the revelation that the spectator dressed as Vader wasn’t ejected from the stadium. The spectator was allowed to watch the game from his assigned seat. People began to make puns like The Umpire Strikes Back or The Force Will Be Waiting For Him.
The most shared pun of the day was Vader not setting a good example for a dad once again. In reality, the spectator dressed as Vader was allowed to watch the match between Australia Vs. England Test Match from their assigned seat. This provided a moment of fun for the fans of the teams having the match during the ongoing chase for the win.
The identity of the spectator dressed as Darth Vader hasn’t been revealed at the moment, but he did provide a good laugh to both the viewers present in the stadium and the fans watching the ongoing matches from the comfort of their homes.
