Classic action RPG Zenonia is set to return on Nintendo Switch as Com2uS revives the original title with a remastered edition. First released on mobile devices before making its way to Nintendo DSiWare, the game is now being updated for modern platforms, including Nintendo Switch and PC.
While Com2uS has yet to reveal the full list of improvements, the remaster promises refreshed visuals while preserving the gameplay that helped establish Zenonia as one of the early mobile RPG classics.
Classic RPG returns with modern enhancements
According to the official overview, the remaster retains the original’s branching morality system, dynamic day-and-night cycle, and character progression. Players will once again choose between three classes—Warrior, Paladin, and Assassin—while customizing their equipment and abilities to suit different playstyles.

The game also brings back gameplay systems that set it apart from many RPGs of its era, including hunger and weight mechanics that directly influence exploration and combat.
In a message shared on the official Com2uS Discord, the developer confirmed that the Nintendo Switch and PC versions are already in the playtesting stage. The studio added that it is “working hard to bring it to you as soon as possible,” although a release date has not yet been announced.
With its combination of nostalgic gameplay and updated presentation, Zenonia Remastered aims to introduce the beloved RPG to a new generation while giving longtime fans another chance to revisit the adventure.
