HoYoverse has announced an update to the birthday gift system in Zenless Zone Zero as the game approaches its second anniversary. Starting July 4, 2026, players known as Proxies will receive refreshed in-game birthday rewards through the mail system, marking a seasonal update tied to account personalization and player engagement.

The change introduces new items designed to enhance celebratory in-game moments, continuing the game’s focus on rewarding player milestones with themed content and collectible cosmetics.

According to the official notice from HoYoverse, the updated birthday rewards will include the Custom-Made Flower Gift and the upgraded birthday namecard “Stargazy (Improved)”.

These items will automatically be delivered to players who log in on their registered birthday within the valid reward period. The birthday gift cycle runs annually from 00:00 on July 4 to 23:59 on July 3 of the following year, ensuring a consistent yearly reset of rewards.

The update will roll out at different times depending on server regions. Asia, Europe, and TW/HK/MO servers will update on July 4 at 00:00 server time, while the America server will receive the update slightly earlier on July 3.

HoYoverse also clarified special handling for leap year birthdays: players set to February 29 will receive rewards on February 28 during non-leap years and on February 29 during leap years.

The developer notes that this update is part of ongoing anniversary preparations, reinforcing Zenless Zone Zero’s live-service model with personalized rewards that encourage daily engagement and long-term player retention across global servers.
