Zenless Zone Zero Confirms Advanced Bounty and Tales of the Hobbling Crow Events for July

HoYoverse has announced two new limited-time Zenless Zone Zero events that will give players fresh activities and valuable in-game rewards during Version 2.2. The upcoming Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol event focuses on boosting farming efficiency by offering double rewards in Area Patrol, while Tales of the Hobbling Crow introduces a new detective-themed storyline with multiple commission incidents to complete.

The two events launch on separate dates in early July and are available to players who meet specific progression requirements. While one is designed to help players collect upgrade resources faster through enhanced rewards, the other expands the game’s narrative with a series of investigations in Booastrum. Together, they provide additional opportunities to earn Polychromes, Boopons, and upgrade materials, making them worthwhile for both new and experienced Proxies.

Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol offers double rewards

The Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol event runs from July 2 at 04:00 to July 7 at 03:59 (server time). Players must reach Inter-Knot Level 21, complete the “Path of the Proxy I” Reputation Rank-Up Mission, and unlock Area Patrol to participate.

During the event, Proxies can clear any Area Patrol stage to receive double rewards. HoYoverse also confirmed that two challenges will receive buffs each day, with the boosted stages resetting daily at 04:00 (server time).

Tales of the Hobbling Crow brings a new detective story

The Tales of the Hobbling Crow event begins on July 3 at 10:00 and ends on July 20 at 03:59 (server time). To participate, players need to reach Inter-Knot Level 20 and complete Main Story Chapter 1 – Intermission.

The event sees Proxies partnering with Hobble and Crowe from The Hobbling Crow Detective Agency to solve mysteries for the residents of Booastrum. Five commission incidents will be released in sequence: Woofy Weirdness, Despairing Boo, Debt Crisis, Parent-Child Time Lag, and Last-Minute Special Blend.

Each new commission unlocks after completing the previous one and reaching the required in-game time. Completing these commissions rewards players with Polychromes, Boopons, and upgrade materials.
