Synopsis
The story is about an Usak family that migrates to Istanbul after the marriage of Cennet, our female protagonist. Cennet had been working all her life since she was young. When she was of age, she was set on marrying Yilmaz, her lover, and went to Istanbul with him after their marriage.
Their marriage lasts around 40 years, till Cennet dies an unfortunate death, leaving behind her three children and husband. The marriage, which began “in good times and hard times,” comes to an end when Cennet becomes paralyzed and passes away.
Cennet had left her husband and kids with one last thing to remember her with a letter. This letter becomes the root cause of all the drama in this series. According to the letter, Cennet’s husband, Yilmaz was to be accounted for her death. This outrageous letter that came after her passing away stirred the normal lives of this family, turning their world upside down.
The letter creates a divide among the children- while one favored the mother more, the other leaned towards their father. Cennet’s lawyer, however, proves the accusations to be believable since it came to be known that Yilmaz, Cennet’s husband was an abuser. He often times sought physical violence not only with his wife but with his children as well.
With the rekindling of the siblings and the love story that arises between Halil, Cennet’s Son, and Zeynep, the layer is sure to keep you hooked on this thrilling yet heart-warming Turkish series.
Recap of Yurek Cikmazi Episode 13
Yilmaz, who trapped Yusuf and then stabbed Mehmet, is able to keep Birsen and the kids with him by concealing the murder weapon. But for Seray, this marks the start of his troubled days. The beating Seray received the first night she entered the house is a sign of what is to come. Halil knocked on the door, but Birsen was unable to stop his father and also pushed Halil outside in order to avert a larger incident. His mother began to cover up violence unintentionally, much like Cennet.
Halil questions his choice to open a grave at such an early hour. Levent, on the other hand, arranges a family gathering in an effort to put Halil under emotional stress. Feride and Birsen meet at the same location and take a seat opposite Halil at the gathering because Feride loves her father and Birsen is afraid of her father. Halil is left in charge of making this important choice by himself just hours before the autopsy.
Zeynep is worried about their relationship in particular. She questions Halil’s ability to carry on living his previous life if the autopsy results are not what they desired. What will happen with Halil and Zeynep? Will the autopsy give them what they’re looking for?
