The latest chapter of `Yumeochi: Dreaming of Falling for You’ was a wholesome one, and it kept me entertained throughout the chapter. They relived their teenage life again by going to karaoke to have fun.

In chapter 13, we get to see Omura’s sad past that she didn’t even have a single friend in her old life. Seeing Omura finally make friends in her secondary school life made me feel happy for her. Seeing the three of them enjoy their life once again, as they didn’t get to do in the previous one, warmed my heart. The connection between the three of them has gotten even closer after this chapter, and I’m very much excited to know what will happen next as the story moves forward.

The chapter starts when Chono, Asakura, and Omura enter the Karaoke room, but it seems they didn’t imagine a karaoke room to look like a Hotel. The room contained Dim lighting, a mysterious bed, and a nice smell wafting throughout the room. Asakura asked if anyone wanted to sing first, but the two didn’t want to sing. Chono told Asakura that it was her idea to go to Karaoke, so she should sing first. After searching for five minutes, Asakura finds out that the song she wanted to sing wasn’t on the list.

Asakura started singing `A letter- from my 15-year-old self’, but it seemed that the song she sang was not matching with the song tune, which made her feel embarrassed. Chono asked Omura what she had been doing for so long on the tab and did she find a song that she wanted to sing.

She responded that she was looking at the karaoke menu. Chono decided that they should order something to eat as he was also getting kind of hungry. Chono orders Ramen from him, Omura orders the snack platter, and Asakura orders a parfait and some pancakes. It seemed like they enjoyed the food.

After they finished eating, Omura connected her console to the karaoke screen, and instead of singing songs, they started playing on the console. As they left the karaoke room, they found that the total bill was 21,600 yen which shocked all of them. As they were heading home, Asakura asked Omura if she enjoyed it.

Omura said she was not sure as it was her first time doing all this thing with other people. After hearing this, Asakura held Omura and said what she meant by other people. Asakura said, by other people, you mean friends, right? We are friends.

Hearing this reminded Omura of her past, that people always think that she ditches classes and always goes to the counselor’s office. Everyone in her classroom thought that she had no friends. Omura started crying after Asakura said that they were friends. The chapter ended with Asakura comforting Omura.
