Tamura had eagerly prepared for her “Yukari Tamura LOVE ♡ LIVE 2024 Honey Bunny” concert tour, a grand event spanning 20 locations across Japan from June 1 to September 8, 2024. However, her health concerns surfaced after the tour’s kickoff at J:COM Hall Hachiouji in Tokyo on June 1. Tamura encountered throat discomfort and struggled with sustaining her vocals for extended periods.
Consequently, the second performance at the same venue on June 2 had to be deferred later due to her condition. Voice actress Yukari Tamura, known for her role as Nanoha Takamachi in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series, faces a setback as her health takes a toll. The official website for Tamura has disclosed that she’s grappling with pneumonia and a voice disorder stemming from acute vocal cord inflammation.
Following a medical assessment on June 3, Tamura received the diagnosis of pneumonia and a voice disorder resulting from acute vocal cord inflammation. The doctor’s recommendation prescribed strict vocal rest for approximately ten days. Due to this medical verdict, two forthcoming concerts must be postponed to June 8 at Urayasu-shi Bunka Kaikan in Chiba and June 9 at Tochigi Sougou Bunka Center in Tochigi.
Yukari Tamura’s management is diligently rearranging the schedule for these three deferred performances. However, if logistical hurdles persist, outright cancellation is possible. The next scheduled performance is slated for June 22 at Niterra Nihon Tokushu Tougyo Shimin Kaikan in Aichi. Currently, there’s no definitive decision regarding the postponement or cancellation of this concert.
