What is the premise of You & Me?
The story of the main protagonists, i.e., Ben, Jess, and Emma, is told over two different timelines as we view their lives before and after certain events. Ben experiences the worst day of his life he becomes a parent, Jess misses a train, and her life is permanently changed, and Emma’s nightmare starts on the day she is given the ultimate job.
It concentrates on parents and kids, siblings and ex-spouses, sex and friendships, and how it can pass on from terrible pain and start loving again throughout three 60-minute episodes. An executive producer named Russell T Davies, who just had a big hit with It’s a Sin, commented on the script:
“After reading hundreds of scripts, this one stood out. It’s an honor to assist Jamie in bringing this project to the big screen since it has all the qualities of a great drama: humor, speed, cleverness, and heartbreak.”

Jamie Davis, a screenwriter, is the author of the drama, which is marketed as a modern interpretation of the popular British rom-com. During a period in my life when everything was going extremely well, I wrote the show, he claims. “I envisioned the worst-case scenario and asked myself: What could go wrong?
I anticipated it would be this because you could tell a story about whether someone could ever recover from that and find love once more. The love between a guy and a lady, a parent, and a youngster, a kid and a parent, and a girl and her sister is the subject of this tale.
