You Are My Desire follows the story of Lin Yujing, a sixteen-year-old girl. Three months ago, she witnessed her parent’s broken marriage come to an end. They were terrible parents and people. In front of the two of them, it was as if Lin Yujing was just a dog.
As if Lin Yujing were unable to understand their speech, they paid no attention. Even emotionally, they did not care for how Lin Yujing felt. They leave Lin Yujing at Auntie Zhang’s place and leave saying they are going on a trip.

In the previous chapter of You Are My Desire, that is Chapter 21, we saw that it was the self-study period when Lin Yujing was asked if she wanted to join the team for a shooting game. Lin Yujing says that she would pass because she would just be bad at it and get scolded by her teammates even if she did play.
Shen Juan asks what the game is about and everyone gives him a cold shoulder. Lin Yujing tells him that it is he who has a cold expression on his face all the time which is why people are scared of him though he is good-looking.
