Yofukashi no Uta is an ongoing manga. It first released its chapters in 2019 and since then it has been five years. It has its story and art by Kotoyama and is a romantic comedy based on a supernatural world that contains vampires. It follows the tale of two students who are both from very different worlds but get entangled with each other.
Kou Yamori is an ordinary school student. He is a diligent student he is good at academics and gets along with his classmates but all that changes when he decides to stop pretending and stop putting up such a face as he is tired of all the effort he is putting in as a result he develops insomnia.
To cope with his serious problem of insomnia he often goes out for walks late at night and happens to encounter a mysterious girl named Nazuna Nanakusa. She tries to help him by saying that he won’t be cured of his insomnia very soon and she invites him to her house and then bites his neck. Soon after they get involved and try to understand the complex feeling called love.
Yofukashi no Uta Chapter 174, Recap
In the previous chapter, that is Chapter 174 of Yofukashi no Uta, Kou confronts Nazuna with something that has been weighing his mind for a long time. He sarcastically says that she would never fall in love with him and that should and would be the least of her worries.
Unknown to him that she has been thinking about him day and night. She is angry at what he said and feels like she should kill him on the spot because he can not take a hint at all. He continues giggling and that drives her mad.
Nazuna is lost in thought deciding whether or not she should kill him. She knows that he is thinking about Mahiru and Kiku too and he is in no way pretending to be a jerk he is worried about all of them but he has no idea what she feels.
Kou lets her know that he is planning to get back to school. He took such a step because Mahiru’s death has shaken up Akira and he wants to be there for her at such a tough time as she is a friend of his and he wants to help her out and make sure she feels better.
She then lets him know that she came to school just for him and then leaves even before having her food. He is lost in thought as he is heading back only to meet Midori who is working part-time. He then heads inside the cafe and meets one of Midori’s fans who helps him with what has been weighing his mind while Midori is done with her shift.
Yofukashi no Uta Chapter 175, Spoilers
