X&Y Episode 5 – Recap
X&Y Episode 5 continued with Yan being trapped in the warehouse of his office, solving yet another puzzle that he strangely ended up in. The only thing that Yan had to find a solution to the lock that was strapped at the door to get out of it. The room was filled with a lot of different hints, but they were of no use. Soon, a toxic gas started to come out of the ventilation of the room.
Yan realizes that this could end up killing him in a few minutes and thus delay the effect of the gas; Yan uses his shirt to stop the gas coming out of the ventilation and starts looking for the solution. After a lot of finding and looking at the clues given to him, Yan still cannot find the solution and realizes that this may kill him.
But the answer is hidden on this notepad, and soon Yan gets out of it only to collapse outside of the room. Later, he finds up waking up at his office desk, thinking that it was again a dream. However, the printing machine gives him the map of the layout, making sure it is not a dream.
Yan later goes to meet Xu Yu and tells her about the map and the current situation. Xu ensures that she did not design this and tells him she won’t buy something like this too. As they speak about it, two delinquents enter the club and cause trouble forcing Xu and her staff to stay open. Yan interferes to stop them, and they threaten him.
Xu Yu offers Yan to stay the night at the club as they will be waiting for him outside, but he says he will take on them and leaves.
