WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures is back in its sophomore season; presented by Booker T for this installment and developed by Stephanie McMahon and former wrestler Triple H, the show tells us the story of the top-level WWE through the eyes of the fighters and the objects they used, take for example Stone Cold Steve Austin’s knee brace, Undertaker’s urn, the championship belts, and lots of memorabilia that ended up in the cabinets of collectors out there.
If you’re a fan of WWE, this show will bring you very fond memories. I remember watching all of these wrestlers during those weekend broadcasts when I was a kid, and the fact that people who have a way better-developed passion for this kind of thing have gone out to pair with television and bring us a show about the history of the wrestlers through the stuff they used for the shows is one of the best aspects of this program.
WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
This episode presented us with one of my favorite wrestlers, I remember Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, and we see his story. The show was on the search for Jim Neidhart’s Hart Foundation Jacket, which was on loan from Bret, as well as Bret’s WrestleMania VIII Jacket. With testimonies from Natalya Neidhart and Peter Rosenberg, great vintage footage, and many stories to tell, this episode was one to remember dearly; it’s the kind of show that makes you go on YouTube and see those moments of wrestling and transport yourself to those weekends where you saw these performers give out their best, or maybe you were lucky enough to be at one of those arenas.
Although the producers and crew were unable to locate Bret’s Montreal Screwjob Sunglasses, we got a chance to learn about his phenomenal story, which included multiple world championship wins and one of wrestling’s most notorious moments, like his championship with Jim Neidhart for a tag team, his King of the Ring moments, and the Intercontinental Championships.
