Cameron Grimes, recently released from WWE, has sparked rumors of an upcoming debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Grimes, also known as Trevor Lee, left WWE in April 2024 after nearly five years with the company. While under a non-compete clause, he hasn’t revealed his future plans in wrestling.
Is Cameron Grimes Headed to AEW?
On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks won an eliminator match. Afterward, they surprisingly fired wrestler Christopher Daniels.
Matt Sydal, Daniels’ tag team partner, expressed his anger on social media and called for AEW to bring Daniels back.
Adding to the speculation, Cameron Grimes replied to Sydal’s tweet with a cryptic message: “So what you’re saying is you need a tag partner?” Fans speculate about Grimes’ future in wrestling.
This has set the wrestling world abuzz! With the upcoming Double or Nothing pay-per-view, fans are excited about potential new alliances and rivalries in AEW. Could Grimes and Sydal join forces to form a new tag team? Only time will tell.
