On Friday, the official website of the TV anime adaptation of Fujino Ōmori and Toshi Aoi’s manga “Wistoria: Wind And Sword” unveiled an enticing new character promotional video, accompanied by the introduction of fresh faces to the cast.
Among the new cast, Tomokazu Seki will voice Workner Norgram, while Kōji Yusa will voice Edward Serfence. The role of Rosty Nowman, previewed in the video, remains unannounced by the staff.
Set to premiere in July across 28 TBS networks, the anime stars Kōhei Amasaki as Will Serfort, Akira Sekine as Elfaria Albis Serfort, Satomi Amano as Colette Loire, Masaaki Mizunaka as Sion Ulster, Aoi Inase as Kiki, Tetsuya Kakihara as Julius Reinberg, Kengo Kawanishi as Wignall Lindor, and Lynn as Lihanna Owenzaus.
Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, with character design by Sayaka Ono and action direction by Raita Sunaga, Yoshirou Harada, and Ryou Akizuki, the anime promises a rich fantasy adventure. Hiroto Morishita is the sound director at Jinnan Studio, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music at Lantis.
The manga, published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing, follows Will Serfort’s journey at Regarden Magic Academy, where he aims to rise to the top despite his lack of magical abilities. Created by Ōmori and Aoi, the series began in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2020 and has since garnered a dedicated following.
