Windy City Rehab is a therapeutic series featuring Allison Victoria revolving around the interior designer buying old homes in Chicago with a past and remodeling it to her liking.
Alison works towards saving houses with one-of-a-kind architecture and updates its design with her luxurious taste and style. Produced by Geoff Davis and Jasmine A. McDonald, the series cast consists of Alison Victoria, an interior designer.
Ari Smejkal, an artisan Donovan Eckhardt, a contractor Kristy Yarbrough, the lead designer Nelson Ramirez, a carpenter. Vincent Anzalon, a real estate agent. Brent Barto, an executive producer, Jamie Gramenos, and Debra Silverman, an astrologer, in the lead cast.

Windy City Rehab – Premise
The series revolves around Alison Victoria, an interior designer with a passion for protecting homes with unique architecture and restoring it with her luxurious taste. She takes up renovation projects from Chicago, Illinois, and also her hometown.
Alison visits a potential candidate’s house with Donovan and discusses their renovation plan for the home. Some of the houses Alison renovated throughout the series were more than 100 years old and were designated landmark buildings.
The duo would start with the demolition part of the house after purchasing it, following a discussion with the previous owner. Often while the pair would be in the demolition process of a house, several unexpected construction problems would occur. This would often lead to an addition in the construction cost for Alison.
The episode ends with Alison staging the remodeled house for potential buyers. The first episode starts with Alison and Donovan taking up the risk of buying an oddball property from the 1990s.
The house had a flooded basement,t but it was just the beginning of problems for the duo. The second episode focuses on the pair remodeling a home in the uncharted territory of Lincon Park. The partners face the difficult choice between leaving the four-unit house or turning it into a single-family house.
The third episode focuses on the duo taking the risk of renovating a penthouse with hopes of earning some profit, but everything derails after the pair starts to demolish it. The fourth episode revolves around the pair almost separating.
The partners face several setbacks during the renovation process of the house. The fifth episode focuses on the partners remodeling a home in Lincon Road from the early 1900s, which was split into two houses later.
The duo remodels the house to convert it into a single property. After several more renovations in the first season, the series ends with the partners renovating a run-down home in the heart of Chicago.
The series continues with Alison and Donovan renovating and remodeling houses for three more seasons, with the fourth season released in 2023. The fourth season begins with Alison with problems as the contractor tries to delay the work and cut corners.
The series ends with Alison receiving a one-year notice from her client to finish his single-family home, or he is moving in even if it’s not ready.
Windy City Rehab: Filming Location
1. Chicago, Illinois
Chicago, one of the most populous cities in Illinois, was used by the production crew of Windy City Rehab for the filming of the entire series. As Alison only took up renovation projects from in and around Chicago, the series got filmed at different locations.
The series’ first season was filmed at homes on the leafy sides of historical neighborhoods like Lincon Square, Logan Square, Ukrainian Villages, Bucktown, Wicker Park, and Channahon. The pair is no longer working together after a couple who brought a house from them sued their business for consumer fraud.
