The Kardashian family, also referred to as the Kardashian–Jenner family, is the American family that seems to have all eyes on them, whether it is their latest business ventures or their family affairs. There’s absolutely no denying the fact that the Kardashians are some of the most entertaining people to ever exist. Their prominence in industries like entertainment, reality television, fashion design, and business is nothing short of exceptional.
The family has accumulated billions of dollars in wealth through their brilliant marketing tactics and businesses. They get their fair share of hatred on the internet, but even the haters are obsessed with watching and tracking their every move online. The family has built an invincible empire, all thanks to Kris Jenner and her gritty daughters.
The women have been accused of promoting diet culture, plastic surgeries, photoshopping their pictures until they look nothing like their own selves anymore and selling cheap, low-quality products, and slapping their brand names on these to charge hefty sums of money from the average consumer.

Keeping up with the Kardashians
Ever since their show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, became wildly popular when it first aired on October 14, 2007, on the E! cable network, the Kardashians have become insanely famous public figures. Their show was the brainchild of Ryan Seacrest, who was also the executive producer of the same. It ran for an impressive 20 seasons till the year 2021 before coming to an end.
The family later revealed that they had negotiated a new contract with the streaming site “Hulu,” which would allow them to continue to rule reality television. On April 14, 2022, the premiere of the new program aired, and it immediately proved popular, as was expected. There have been three seasons in total, and Hulu has already given the show its go-ahead for seasons four, five, and six.

Kourtney’s Wedding
Everyone is aware that Kourtney and musician Travis Barker have been dating for a while and are deeply in love. According to reports, the couple wed twice; the third marriage, which occurred in Italy, was particularly significant. It might be true what they say about the third time being the charm. The wedding took place at L’Olivetta, a villa owned by Dolce & Gabbana, the luxury brand that sponsored the event, in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday, May 22, 2022. It was a lavish and extravagant affair in keeping with other Kardashian affairs. In front of their close friends and family, the couple got married.
Kourtney wore a custom corseted mini dress with beautiful lace detailing. She accessorized with tulle gloves, lace heels, and a spectacular cathedral-length veil embroidered with the Virgin Mary and the words “family loyalty respect” underneath as a tribute to one of Barker’s tattoos. In order to symbolize the gardens of Portofino, lace flowers were also included in the veil’s design. Her rockstar husband, the former drummer for Blink-182, was wearing a black double-breasted suit by Dolce & Gabbana.
A source close to the Kardashians claims that the pair wed legally on May 15 in a courtroom in Santa Barbara, just a few days before they left for Italy. Only a few members of the family and close friends were present at the intimate ceremony. On May 16, the following day, Kourtney Kardashian posted photos of the wedding on her Instagram account with the caption, “Til death do us part.” The event was so monumental for the Kardashian family that Hulu even released a televised special about the entire ordeal.
The Latest Kourtney and Kim drama
Reportedly, Kim was supposed to be a part of the latest Dolce and Gabbana show, the brand that sponsored and dressed Kourtney, Travis, and the entire Kardashian family in archival looks during Kourtney’s lavish Italian wedding. But the twist is that Kourtney claims that Kim stole the entire aesthetic of her wedding while partnering with the brand for their latest event.
It is interesting to note that Kim became the face of the brand just a few months after Kourtney and Travis’ wedding. Kim’s brand deal with D&G was announced in September of 2022, and Kourtney was not thrilled about that either.
Kourtney’s response to Kim trying to “steal her wedding.”
In the latest preview of the next episode of their massively popular reality TV show, Kourtney seems pretty upset at her sister as she is seen crying while accusing Kim of “copying her wedding” as part of a deal with Dolce & Gabbana.
In one of the snippets from the preview, Kourtney is conversing with Kendall Jenner across from her while they are both discussing Kim’s participation in the Dolce and Gabbana event.
“She sees it as the dollar signs,” Kourtney says, seeming genuinely upset before burying her face in her hands and sobbing. “Sorry, it just upsets me,” she says while having a conversation with one of her sisters, Kendall.

“Because it’s not about just business,” she goes on to say while sobbing, “It’s just legit copying my wedding.” Kourtney continues in a conversation with Khloe, “People think it’s a misunderstanding. It’s not. It’s who she is to her core,” while discussing Kim and the way she used the D&G show as a business strategy.
Kim’s reaction to Kourtney’s disapproval
Kim claims that she is confused by the fact that Kourtney is mad at her when, according to her, she didn’t do anything of that sort. “I’m really confused at how this narrative came into her head. Like, I couldn’t have been more mindful. I said, ‘Don’t do anything that Kourtney wore to her wedding.'”
But it does seem like Kourtney has decided to smooth things over with her sister because Kim was present at her recent birthday bash, as evident from the pictures that Kourtney posted of the event on Instagram. In one of the pictures, Kim is seen holding up a birthday card that reads, “I’m proud to call you my sister. Hopefully, this makes up for all the other things I’ve called you.”
Seems like all the countless reports of some sort of tension brewing up between the sisters might be true after all. All we can do now is tune into the upcoming episode and hope it sheds some light on the entire fiasco and that it dies down soon.
