Popular rapper, actor, record producer, and record executive Sean Diddy Combs, founded his own label company, Bad Boy Records in 1993. Diddy is said to have produced notable artists including Usher and Mary J. Blige. Not only that but Diddy’s debut album, No Way Out, has been certified seven times platinum.
The rapper has been making headlines after some women have come forward and made some severe accusations against him. His former girlfriend, Cassie, has also made severe claims of assault while Sean Diddy has refuted these claims by stating that Cassie had tried to blackmail him for $30 million before she filed the lawsuit.
It has been later reported that the two have finally settled for an undisclosed amount. Diddy’s attorney Ben Brafman further stated that this settlement does not undermine his flat-out denial of the severe claims made against him. Combs released his fifth studio album, The Love Album.
Diddy Might Not Be Attending the Grammys 2024!
It seems like Diddy will not be a part of the 2024 Grammys! Given how the artist has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women, the Recording Academy has discussed not rescinding Diddy’s invite to the Grammys. The artist has, however, continued to deny any such claims of assault.
The Recording Academy has earlier issued a statement saying that they are taking this matter very seriously and they are also in the process of evaluating it with the time and care that the matter deserves. The rapper will not be attending the Grammys this year although Diddy’s The Love Album: Off the Grid, has been nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album.
After these allegations came forward, Cassie came forward and stated that after spending years in silence and darkness, she was finally ready to tell her story and to speak up on behalf of herself and for the benefit of other women who have been facing violence and abuse in their relationships.
What Happened To Diddy?
Diddy has been accused of r**e and continuous physical assault for almost a decade, by his former girlfriend, Casandra Ventura. Following this claim, several other women have also come forward while making similar claims. The scandal grabbed so much media attention that HULU dropped the new reality show that was being made on the rapper.
The project was eventually dropped as it was earlier working under the working title Diddy+7. The project was being produced by James Corden’s production company Fulwell 73 for the streaming giant. Diddy has also left his position as the chairman of the television network Revolt. Not only that but earlier in 2019, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Gina Huynh claimed that the rapper reportedly physically used to abuse her throughout their five-year relationship.
Gina went on to claim that Diddy even went on to punch her in the back of the head. Popular Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Tiffany Red has come forward who has written songs for noted celebrities including Joe Jonas, Zendaya, Jason Derulo, and Tamar Braxton and published an open letter stating that Cassie’s claims are true.
After these allegations came forward, the rapper took to social media while stating that he had sat silently and watched people try to assassinate his character and destroy his reputation and his legacy. Diddy further added that some sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday while pointing out that he has not done any of the awful things that have been alleged.
What Happened Between Diddy And Drake?
