He accused his ex-wife, Amrita, for her verbal abusive nature towards his family members. In other words, she misbehaved with his mother (Sharmila Tagore) and sister (Soha Ali Khan). While making this revelation, a part of his statement was – “It isn’t nice to be constantly reminded of how worthless you are. I’ve gone through all of it.”
On the other hand, Amrita Singh allegedly labelled him as the awful father. He missed both of their children – Sara and Ibrahim, right after the divorce. He also mentioned about how he used to shed his tears after looking at his son’s picture in his wallet.
Amrita Singh also reportedly demanded for a hefty amount as the alimony that the actor had to pay, even at the cost of his life. Saif also paid INR 1 Lakh to her, on a monthly basis, until Ibrahim turned 18.
