Reason Behind Graham Coxon Leaving The Rock Band Blur
The major reason behind Graham Coxon leaving Blur was his hospitalization. As mentioned earlier, the reason was understandable, as the music artist suffered from heavy alcoholism. Following that, Graham was admitted to Priory Hospital for treatment. It was made for nearly a month, more precisely for 28 days.
Soon, in February, right in the following year, Graham Coxon rejoined Blur. At that time, he worked on the release of the album- Think Tank. During an interview, the other band members reported that their sessions weren’t going great with Graham’s presence.

Well, Graham Coxon always stayed private about his life. Once, in an interview, the music artist shared that the band, Blur, kicked him out because of his mental breakdown. However, neither of the mates confirmed his exit.
It was the manager of Blur who told him that it was something to do with his attitude on a phone call. On this note, Graham said, “Although I felt I was going about my work honestly, perhaps they mistook honesty for attitude.”
After a few years, in 2009, Graham Coxon reunited with Blur at Hyde Park for a show. In 2015, he shared that he would work with the band quite often for its albums. Again last year, Graham Coxon made his comeback in Blur. Since then, he has been doing great with the group.
