Vicky Pryce, also known as Vasiliki Vicky Pryce, was born on July 15, 1952, in Athens, Kingdom of Greeks. Since her early childhood, she used stayed mostly outside and used to move in and out of her native home. At the age of 17, she moved to London to complete her studies. She studied at the London School Of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Economics (BSc) and her master’s degree in Monetary Economics (MSc).

During her career, at first, she worked as an economist and later as the chief economist at the William and Glyn’s Bank, which is now a part of Scotland’s Royal Bank.

After shifting her job from Williams & Glyn’s Bank, she started working as a corporate economist from the year 1983 to 1986 in Exxon Europe. Later she worked as chief economist again in the Peat Marwick McLintock as well as in KPMG International Limited from 1986 to 2001.
Pryce was the first woman who was appointed as the Chief Economic Advisor in the Department for Trade and Industry in August 2002. Pryce was also appointed as the Chairwoman of the GoodCorporation company, which is an organization that promotes ethical business practices.

Apart from excelling in the field of business as an economist, she was also a professor. She was a guest professor from the year 2002 till 2008 at City University’s Cass Business School. She also became a member of the Society of Business Economists from the year 2002 as well as a guest professor at the Imperial College Business School from 2008 till the year 2011.
Also, in the year 2010, she also became the first female to work as a Master of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants. Pryce is also a visiting professor at Birmingham City University and King’s College London from the year 2021 till the present.

Pryce was married to her first husband, Gareth Pryce, who was a postgraduate student at the London School Of Economics and Political Science (LSE). They were happily married for some years, and together they had two daughters.
Everything was going well until the two decided to end their marriage with a divorce in the year 1981. She was focused on her work after her divorce until she met Chris Huhne, and the two decided to get married in 1984, 3 years after she ended her first marriage.
Chris Huhne, Pryce’s second husband, later, after their marriage, became the Member Of The European Parliament and also the Liberal Democrat MP for Eastleigh. She had 3 children with her second husband.

After her first marriage ended with divorce in the year 1981, she married her second husband, Chris Huhne, who was an important person in the political field. Though Pryce was in love with her second husband, their marriage also didn’t last.
The couple ended their marriage with divorce in the year 2011 in January. After their divorce, the two were convicted of perverting the course of justice, for which the two were sentenced to eight months in prison. Pryce was convicted after her trial, and Huhne pleaded as guilty. They two were in prison for nine weeks together.
Pryce and Huhne divorced on the grounds that Huhne was cheating on Pryce and their children with Carina Trimingham, even though they had been very much in love since their marriage. After admitting this, Pryce was angry with him, and the two finally got divorced a year later, in 2011. So their love life ended with divorce.
