Whispering You a Love Song Chapter 40: Recap
Before moving forward, let us have a recap of the previous chapter of the series, Chapter 40, to have a little overview of the incidents that happened up till now in the story. This chapter is titled ‘Truth and First Love’, which is quite fitting for this chapter.
This chapter is very intense, and it starts with Shiho confessing to Aki that she was her first love. After having an altercation between the two of them on why Shiho left the club without any explanation, Shiho gathers up the courage to tell Aki the real reason for her leaving.
Shiho says that she doesn’t want to continue this relationship where she is the one who keeps getting hurt over and over again. She wants to put a fitting end to this weird situation that both of them are in.
Shiho then goes on into retrospection and finds that after all these years, the unconveyed feelings that she thought she had cast aside back then come back with a huge hit, and she realizes even though she tried to put an end to everything between them, she is still in love with Aki.
She converted her feelings of frustration and anger into power. All of it was put into the performance, and she was better than ever. She was sad about what happened but was also glad about the fact that she could say a proper goodbye to her first love, and on this note, the chapter ends.
