How Did Solar Became A Part of MAMAMOO?
Solar was scouted by an RBW agent on street. Before MAMAMOO made its debut in 2014, Kim Do Hoon, the CEO of RBW Entertainment, had a vision in his mind. His goal was to make artists who would not just be talented at singing. But they would also be good at having fun on stage. He planned MAMAMOO to be a five-member group originally. But there were a lot of changes. Kim Do Hoon was sure from the start that MAMAMOO would become one of the successful idol groups.

How Did The MAMAMOO Members Become A Part of The Girl Group?
All four members i.e. Solar, Hwasa, Wheein, and Moonbyul joined RBW Entertainment in 2011. Currently, Solar is the leader and main vocalist of the group. Hwasa is the lead vocalist, lead rapper, and maknae of the group. Wheein served as the lead vocalist and lead dancer of the group! Moonbyul serves as the main rapper and main dancer. Wheein and Hwasa were the two of the first trainees to join RBW Entertainment for the lineup of MAMAMOO. Dreaming of becoming singers, the two moved to Seoul together. The two went on to train in different agencies before they eventually joined RBW Entertainment.
Solar was out when she saw a competition taking place in the market. All the idol had to do was to sing and win a free gift. Solar went on to sing and won the gift. But she was spotted by an agent at RBW Entertainment. As they asked her to audition, Solar went on to clear the audition and trained for three years. Fellow members Moonbyul and Wheenin were in the same agencies before joining RBW Entertainment. But their group only lasted a week before they parted ways. Auditioning for RBW Entertainment, Moonbyul was able to enter the last trainee for the girl group.
Making their debut in 2014, the girls have broken several records and have won several awards, including MAMA, Seoul Music Awards, and Golden Disc Awards.
Where Is MAMAMOO Now? Is There A Comeback Coming Up?
RBW Entertainment has announced that soon the girl group MAMAMOO will be celebrating their eighth anniversary together. To celebrate, the girls are getting ready to release a new full-group album. A MAMAMOO concert is also in the talks. The comeback is scheduled for the second half of 2022. Details regarding the comeback will be out soon by the company. As of February 2022, Wheein parted her ways with RBW Entertainment, but the idol will continue to be a part of the girl group.
