Pumpkin Pie Wars is a cooking-based romantic drama film that tells the story of two bakery rivals, Faye McArthy & Lydia Harper. Those who start their own bakery business & compete with each other at the same time each year. They participate in the local pumpkin pie contest.
Whoever wins the competition gains the upper hand in the bakery business. But the real twist comes into the story when both Faye & Lydia ask their children to run their business & win the local pie competition.
But before they realize both of their children start falling for each other, and thus marks a love story between 2 rivals. Pumpkin Pie Wars is a television movie which released on 15 October 2016. Plot Of Pumpkin Pie Wars
Two best friends, Faye McArthy and Lydia Harper turn into rivals when Lydia decides to open her own bakery without including Faye in it. Now looking at Lydia’s progress, Faye decides to start her own bakery business. But unfortunately, luck was never in favor of Faye.
And Lydia, who learned bakery from Faye, surpassed her in every possible way, by winning the local pumpkin pie contest several times and by taking her bakery business to new heights.
Faye decides to win the next Pumpkin Pie competition to get more sales in her bakery business, but unfortunately, she gets involved in an accident & asks her Wharton Graduate daughter Casey McArthy to compete in the competition.
Casey is a finance student. She knows everything about running a business but has no clue about baking. The same goes for Lydia’s son Sam Harper who is a chef, and her mother wants him to take over her bakery business. How Sam and Casey help each other and fall in love with each other while being a rival for the rest of the story.

The main lead of the movie “Pumpkin Pie Wars” is Michele Scarabelli as Faye McArthy, a Canadian actress who has majorly appeared in several Canadian movies & TV shows. She is famous for her roles as Susan Francisco from the Alien Nation TV series.
Julie Gonzalo is an Argentine actress who is known for acting in several American romantic comedy films like A Cinderella Story, Christmas with Kranks, etc. here she plays the role of Casey McArthy.
Some other lead actors in this movie are Eric Aragon as Sam Harper, Jennifer Juniper Angeli as Lydia Harper, and Peter Graham Gaudreau as Reggie Mcarthy.

While some liked the movie, others called the movie predictable, stating that it had nothing new to offer. But none of the less, people still loved the movie.
