Home Alone 2: Lost in New York filming location is what fans want to know more of right now. The film was released back in 1992 and serves as a sequel to Home Alone. Chris Columbus has again directed the film.
The plot focuses on Kevin McCallister, who is again separated from his family while they are going on a vacation to Florida. This time he is in New York City and comes across the Wet Bandits yet again after they have escaped prison.
We see that the McCallister family is packing their bags to spend their Christmas holidays in Miami. Again, they go to Kate and Peter’s home in Chicago. As for Kevin, he does not like Miami and its Christmas vibes because they do not have Christmas trees accompanied by tropical weather.
While the kids are at a Christmas pageant at school, Buzz tries to make fun of Kevin. In response and anger, he pushes his brother over, which ultimately leads to the whole choir performance falling and ruining the evening. As they come home, Buzz fakes an apology to his younger brother, and the family is okay with it.
But Kevin is different, and he refuses to apologize to Buzz because of his wrongful behavior. He does not even want to spend Christmas in Miami because it does not feel like Christmas to him there. Thus, he storms off into the attic and again wishes that his family leaves so that he can have a Christmas alone.
The next morning, the family oversleeps yet again, but they do not forget Kevin. Although, the real chaos happens when he accidentally boards a flight to New York City instead and ends up alone like he wanted to.
When he arrives in the city, he is very impressed and decides to go on a tour. He also has his father’s credit card and checks into a hotel to stay. Unbeknownst to him, the Wet Bandits from the previous film, who were sent to prison, have escaped from their captivity and reached New York.
