B.A.P was a South Korean boy band consisting of 6 members. Yongguk, Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup, and Zelo. This Boy band was the first boy group in TS entertainment. B.A.P became known in South Korea as well as Japan. Amounting up to 28 releases since their debut, B.A.P had won many international awards along with several rookie awards.
The six stars rising in popularity held many successful concerts from continent to continent. Despite many disagreements from the public, On February 18, 2019, B.A.P officially disbanded after 7 years of activity. The reason for B.A.P’s disbandment was because their contract expired and the members of the group refused to renew it.
However, this boy band went their separate ways and pursued solo careers to this day. B.A.P stands for ‘Best Absolute Perfect’, and just like the name, these idols were the epitome of great artists. B.A.P’s leader and main rapper, Yongguk, was the writer and producer of the band as well as some other solo artists. During the time of Yonggok as the leader of B.A.P, he also released several solo songs. Yongguk is also known to be a charitable person, being part of the UNICEF organization. These artists went a long way in their career as a band and still progressively make a name for themselves as solo artists.
Where Are the Idols of K-pop Band B.A.P Now?
Fans were shaken when Yongguk and Zelo left the K-pop group, B.A.P. The remaining members continued as a band up until their contract was expired and B.A.P officially disbanded. However, during the time all members remained a group, their albums were sold out within 2 days. Famous hits like ‘Warrior’, ‘One Shot’, and ‘Wake Me Up’ hit the roof with their views. As the group broke up, all members went their separate ways continuing their solo careers while remaining good friends.

What Had B.A.P Accomplished As a Band?
Appearing in the top 3 spots on Korea’s Gaon Chart and landing in the top 10 on the World Album chart, B.A.P took the lead as brilliant artists rising to stardom. Millions around the world attended the concerts and performances these esteemed artists did.
Just like these raving fans, the member of B.A.P didn’t expect to accomplish so much so early in their career. In many behind the scenes of the makings of their music videos, you clearly see the members being energetic and happy to get filming. The visuals in each and every video were out of this world and they have and always will be highly adored idols.
Why Didn’t B.A.P Continue As a Band?
Many fans still plead for a comeback of the members as a band once more, but the rising stars seem adamant to remain solo. I do not want to dwell too much on ‘ what could be ‘ and where these stars would be had they stayed together. They are talented artists with powerful choreography and songwriting skills. The charisma and charm that these members emanated really had everyone swooning.
These rookie artists could’ve gone to bigger places in fame had their management and publicity been done well. These artists as an entirety were k-pop 3rd generation’s highly gifted artists and would’ve accomplished much greater things. But, they are content where they are and that’s all that really matters.

B.A.P’s Himchan Sentenced to 10 Months of Prison?
Being part of the entertainment world, everything about artists is out in the world. The smallest rumor could ruin the idol’s reputation forever. Years and years of creating a career can go down the drain with just one mistake. B.A.P’s Himchan admitted to the revolting accusations. Himchan made a public announcement admitting to having committed sexual assault. Shortly after feeling ‘sorry’ and posting an apology letter on Instagram, Himchan attempted suicide.
Fortunately, it was just an attempt and Himchan was saved. Sources revealed that he is in stable condition now thanks to some anonymous phone call made to Himchan’s mother about his safety. Himchan does, however, feel depressed having disappointed his fans. And just like that, Himchan’s image went from celebrated to tarnished.
