‘When Trying to Get Back at the Hometown Bullies, Another Battle Began’ is a manga that follows the life of Hinode Kotaro. What happened five years ago was something Kotaro could never forget. He was always up against three bad guys.
The three guys who were always bullying Kotaro were Akari Mikazuki, the strongest. Oborozuki Kanae, the child basketball prodigy and the genius of video games, Mangetsu Shigure.
They had over 100 battles, and Kotaro had over 100 defeats. He had failed to defeat them even once. And something more humiliating than that was his neighbor, Mizuki-san, who pitied him and helped him every time.
Now, after five years, our Kotaro is now back, stronger. It has been a while since then, and now the time has come for them to meet again. He is determined to make them pay. This has been the most awaited moment for Kotaro. He will now finally have his revenge.

In Chapter 11-“The Battle Against a WIFI Girl Has Begun,” of ‘When Trying to Get Back at the Hometown Bullies, Another Battle Began,’ we saw that Kotaro was talking to a bunch of girls at the pool who were kind of jealous of Mikazuki Akira were snitching on her to Kotaro.
Mikazuki Akira’s family was of fighters, and her sisters were all masculine and looked tough on the outside but were surely not delinquents. Her oldest sister was an athlete designated for the national team, and her second elder sister was the president of the university’s women’s wrestling club.
The girls who were snitching about Mikazuki Akira to Kotaro had misunderstood that she was into bad stuff and rode on bikes with strong men who were delinquents. But Kotaro told them that he didn’t care and he just wanted to defeat her.
On hearing that, Mikazuki Akira felt bad yet relieved. She felt like she was an insignificant presence to Kotaro, but it was somewhat comforting that Kotaro didn’t think she was up to anything strange.
When the jealous girls happily ask Kotaro if he is not interested in Mikazuki Akira, he tells them that they are mistaken about him not being interested in her, and instead, he is just not interested in hearing lies from them.
Hearing that, Mikazuki Akira is instantly happy and flustered. She can not believe what she just heard. She gets flustered to the point that she cancels the punishment session for the day. Kotaro is not aware of her hearing the whole conversation, so he is just confused about why she is blushing.
