What Happened To Milan Lucic? Everything To Know
Why was Milan Lucic arrested in the first place? It all started after an officer received a call for a reported assault and battery. When the cops reached the location, the victim introduced herself as Milan Lucic’s wife.
To be more precise, the incident took place at the waterfront apartment building located along Battery Street in the North End. She accused him of domestic violence. To be more precise, Milan reportedly attacked and choked her. When the cops found the ice hockey player, he was already very intoxicated.
Being aware of the incident, the Boston Bruins team took a decision and announced that Milan Lucic would be taking an indefinite leave of absence. A part of the announcement also said, “The organization takes these matters very seriously, and we will work with the Lucic family to provide any support and assistance they may need.”
The captain of the Boston Bruins, Brad Marchand, shared that it’s very difficult to see teammates going through such stuff. But, he assured that Milan and his family have full support from the team. He also shared that Milan has always been a very good friend, and that too for a long time.
On the other hand, Milan Lucic denied the allegations made against him. In other words, he pleaded not guilty and told the cops that nothing happened. Also, he didn’t attempt or cooperate further, discussing anything related to the matter.
But, the eyes of the cops are very sharp. They observed a broken lamp on one of the nightstands in Milan’s bedroom. A piece appeared to be that of a broken glass, but he called it a shard of plastic. Following this, he was arrested and taken to the Boston Police Department’s A-1 District Station.
Concerning the incident, the head coach of the Boston Bruins, Jim Montgomery, denied passing any comment. He hardly talked to anyone about the situation but was aware of the fact that he had taken a leave of absence.
Best Wishes to Milan Lucic for the upcoming days of his life. It is yet to be confirmed that the left winger is responsible for all the accusations made against him. Even though he denied the claims, we wonder why he got arrested and then took leave. The entire case is still a bit fishy. Make sure to follow Milan Lucic on his Instagram account for more updates.
